Every day is a gift from the Lord.
If you choose to believe this, even the most mundane events can be special.
I have always longed for adventure. My parents used to tell me I would bug them incessantly to go on an adventure of some kind. I think that spirit lies in all of us as it is how God has designed us.
To live life to the full.
We choose to believe that every moment has the potential for adventure and a chance to taste the sweetness of God's love for us.
Ok, just had to get that out of my system. Here are a few of our moments that make me smile. They may not seem super special on the outside, but this is the adventure we are living, and loving!
Yup. Joel shot a squirrel. In our backyard. With a BB gun. Could a girl be any more proud of her man? We are like the Clampetts living in the big city.

The little guy was eating all of our seeds. So we made an example of him to all his squirrel buddies. The kids think their Daddy is amazing.
I almost gagged when Joel let the kids pet the thing.

We love our neighbors. Two brothers, Eric and Lucas, are so sweet to E and B. They both go to Boone Elementary. I am trying to figure out a plan to snag this shirt!

Emmy loves all things princess. So of course, what little girl doesn't dream of a canopy over her bed? So I did some ghetto decorating. She loves it.

Our house projects never cease. They will need to cease soon as we must get this house on the market. But for now, Joel is constantly working on something. Just recently he did some demo work in the bathroom.

While Boone played among the sharp shards of tile, Emmy sat in the center of the room covering her ears whenever Joel used his power tools. These kiddos adore their Daddy!

Story time at night. Doesn't get much cuter! And yes we are reading "Everyone Poops." It's a favorite in the Foshea household. Of course.

Some big shoes to fill.

Every night the kids feed Bear. They hold the cans above their heads to prevent Bear from knocking the food out. I just think they look so cute.

It's the little moments like these I will remember with great fondness.
